AIR source heat pumps
An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a system which transfers heat from outside to inside a building. In your home this would be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating and your hot water cylinder. It can also be used in the reverse for the summer to cool the inside of the house
SOLAR THERMAL
Solar thermal systems capture the free heat from the sun and use it to heat up water for use in the home. The solar panels on your roof absorb heat from the sun, the water in the panels heats up and this hot water is pumped through a coil in your cylinder which transfers the heat to the water.
What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy is provided from a source that is not depleted / never runs out when it’s used such as wind, sun and rain. Not only does it give off zero emmissions like oil and gas it is also a free of charge source. The government and many indepentant bodies also endorse multiple schemes in areas across the UK meaning you can earn whilst you heat your home! I recently had a couple engineers from heatlink remove a radiator, and cap off the pipes and the gas pipes, then they returned a couple of weeks later to fit new radiator and power flush my heating system. I am very happy with their service and professionalism and will not only use them again if I need to, I will also recommend them to anyone in need of any of the services they undertake. Both of the staff were friendly, hard working and did exactly what I asked them to do with out complaining (end of day change of pipework, which I wasn’t happy with, probably no one else would have noticed either, but Ollie changed it for me anyway, which improved the overall finish

Heatlink did an excellent job and despite two problems they did their utmost to correct these, initially the boiler didn’t work and a new part had to be obtained on the Friday afternoon but the engineer worked until late evening to put this right.
The new Honeywell thermostat then decided not to play ball and had to be replaced and again this was replaced on the Saturday morning with compensation.
Everyone involved with the company has been polite and professional and I would recommend their services to anyone considering them
